Our Practice

Michael and Maureen Kraten founded Enterprise Management Corporation (EMC) in 1995. Our practice
encompasses three centers of excellence: a center for negotiation, a center for entrepreneurship, and a center for
social policy. We conduct many of our ongoing consulting activities via electronic communication modalities.
However, we are also available to provide on-site consulting services when face-to-face contact is preferred.

Our primary strategic advantage is our ability to identify, translate, and apply various materials from the academic
arena in a manner that facilitates their use in the business environment. We have significant experience in developing
in-house corporate training programs for private enterprises, as well as executive MBA and online degree programs
for colleges and universities, and we consistently integrate information from both realms into our consulting projects.

Most of our clients maintain operations that are located in the northeastern United States, primarily in the Boston / New York City transportation corridor. Many of these firms, however, pursue business interests on a global level, and we continue to exploit the latest communication technologies in order to optimize our ability to serve them wherever they conduct their affairs.
